Scenario

Christy Sunner was a happily married mother, with her husband and her daughter Laurella. Then one day, her husband passed away in an accident--leaving her devastated and alone, with a toddler to raise.

Desperate for a friend, she ran to her oldest and best friend, Alec Gerard. Alec had been in love with Christy since elementary school, and was ready with open arms. A few drinks, and there was an evening spent that was a little too friendly.

Embarrassed, Christy ran home to her daughter. Alec was devastated, but soon his friend from childhood, David Carter, moved in with him to keep loneliness at bay.

Eventually Christy realized that she was unable to manage with on her own with Laurella, and she accepted Alec's move-in offer as well.

After a few days, Christy started to fall for David. However, she realized she had feelings for Alec, too.

Now she's come between two friends. What will happen to them all? It's all up to you!

My Story (02/16/07)

To keep herself busy while she was deciding what to do about loving both Alec and David, Christy spent a whole day redecorating the room she was sharing with Laurella--in a purple gingham pattern. She made so much money by trading out the old furniture, that there was enough left over for Alec to redecorate his room (upstairs), as well. David spent most of that day and night crying and being upset over the developing situation between himself and Christy. Not knowing what was wrong, Alec comforted him.
The next day David cooked breakfast for them all, and at one point, Alec (ahem) thought he might be more than friends with David. If David had known that, he might have moved out then and there! Fortunately, Alec had to go to work, which gave David a chance to spend some time with Christy. However, nothing was settled that day.

By the end of the next day, Alec had cornered Christy, and they had discovered that they really did love each other, but still nothing was settled.

The next morning Christy provided breakfast for everyone, and while she was watching the guys eat, she scoped them out...several times. Each time, it was Alec who made her blush and see hearts. After Alec went off to work, she tried just one more time, to see if she felt ANYTHING for David...nope! So the two parted--sadly, yet amicably. David moved out on his own, and Christy waved goodbye.
Christy spent the rest of that day teaching Laurella to walk, which was accomplished just as Alec got home from work. He had just received his second promotion (to patrol officer) in two days, and Christy was happy because of Laurella's achievement, and in the joy of the moment, they kissed tenderly.

That did it. Alec got down on his knee and within a few minutes, he and Christy were officially engaged.

Rufus London had come by after work with Alec, and while all this was going on, he was cleaning the entire house! Unfortunately, Christy never did really get to meet him, since there seemed to be something wrong with his communicative powers. They never even really got to say goodbye, since Rufus left rather suddenly. It was obvious he needed to get home, since he didn't seem to be working quite correctly.

The story has been left with the newly-engaged couple teaching Laurella to talk, at the end of their already-eventful day.

Will this engagement "take?" Does Alec REALLY love Christy the way he should? Where did David go? Will they ever see him again? Would anyone else like to take over from here? Hopefully those questions will be answered soon.
