"Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck is considered to be the founder of
quantum theory, and therefore one of the most important physicists
of the twentieth century," says the Wikipedia. Does this huge
dorm fit in with that theory? Read up on it a bit, and you decide! You'll be surprised how well this dorm plays. I have a good computer, but by no means the best. I put Wendy's Rosie Bourne into the dorm, and then got busy with some other things and totally forgot I had left the game going in Live mode. When I switched back to the game TWO HOURS LATER, I figured I'd find Rosie in an urn. Not at all! She was busily exercising out in the entry area (see the Detail shot), and was in her last quarter of her Jr. year! All she needed was for me to have her sit down and do her term paper, and voila! she moved from a C+ student right into the A+ mode once again. By that time, she had made a horde of new friends, and had dorm living down pat! If you look at the pictures closely, you'll see that every dorm room is occupied (which actually makes the lot play easier, since those rooms are locked out until a student enters or leaves each room). Granted, I have my game set to only allow six visitors to any lot. So when I went to control Rosie in the lot, there was no delay at all, and the lot functioned like a much smaller home. So...unless you have a REALLY slow computer, I'd give it a try. You might end up loving this place! |

| Located close to the Gym, the bowling alley is a great place for fun and celebration. It may look more like an academic, traditional building on the outside, but inside it's as contemporary as it comes. | |||

| I love the way Kai kind of turned this around so that what we'd usually think was the back, is actually the front. Then, in the tiny back yard, he set it all up for your students to make a little money on the side by selling their produce. So...even though the rental cost is a pricey $14,900, it really should be fairly easy for your Sims (if they have a good work ethic, anyway) to live here. | |||

| Apparently the owner and developer of the first apartment (see above) changed his mind a bit about the remaining six apartments. Located in a different sector than the original, these are actually dorms...with a difference. Students who live in these units will actually have a true apartment experience!!! Each dorm room is kept private by the regular dorm doors (see the detail shot). There is no communal kitchen, so no free food will be served anywhere. However, each tiny dorm room has a complete kitchen all its own. So your Sim students may move in at minimal cost, and as long as they make just enough money to keep their fridges at least moderately full, they will have everything they need! Heck! All they have to do is eat Instant Meals all day long, and they don't even have to buy food! | |||

| This is the same library that was first used as the Micronesia Library. It looks pretty modular. Perhaps the founding fathers decided that all libraries in any part of the project would use this format. It's perfect in the college setting, and your Sims students should have many satisfactory study sessions here. | |||
