This neighborhood is totally empty when you download it. There are no installed lots and no occupants, though the neighborhood is fully decorated. This is a lovely little neighborhood, and playable out to the edges. There is room for any size lot somewhere in the neighborhood. The little lake provides lovely views through the windows, if you are using NightLife. If you don't have all the Expansion Packs, just use the SC4 Terrain Files and create your own base-game neighborhood from scratch. There are two extra SC4 files in the folder, but they won't harm your game at all. They are just pictures of the other types of neighborhood terrains that can be created beginning with NightLife. If you prefer, you can just take out the "_concrete" and "_dirt" .jpg files and only install the others in your SC4 Terrains folder, however, you don't have to do that.

I created this neighborhood primarily for a special reason. I'm now using simPE to create recolors. It is tremendous fun, and I think you will like my creations. At least part of this neighborhood will be populated with special houses designed to showcase my recolors. These special downloads will NOT be available on the Exchange. If you find them there, someone else has downloaded them here and then redistributed them in a lot when uploading. I don't mind people doing that, but I would appreciate a link back to this page if at all possible.

lot as a tribute to this page.
She uses several neighborhoods
from Neighborly Sims in her game,
and she wanted to honor Horseshoe Lake
with this special house.

The house was intended
to go on a hill.
There are quite a few of those
in Horseshoe Lake,
so the house should look good
wherever you put it
in the neighborhood.

You can download these two lots and a BUNCH more to go with them, at Ed's SimPage on the Exchange (see the link above). These beautiful creations fit wonderfully into this neighborhood. You could pretty much fill up the whole neighborhood with the set that Ed has been making, or you can pick and choose to find your favorites. They are definitely "must see" assets! Thank you, Ed!
