Thanks everyone FRIENDS

I know it will be a slow process now....it's frustrating but I know it will be for the best that I lose the last part slowly.
As soon as I have this baby, my goal will be to lose at least 100 lbs. I've really added the weight since I started having babies!
Well...it can be done, so good luck to you! I think I need to lose about 90 in total, that may well turn into 100 if I am not happy with how I look at 10 stone (140lb)
Exercise is certainly wonderful to tone muscles and improve the cardiovascular system but I think its probably only 25% of the diet battle. Its that old demon food that does the damage.
That is so true!
Well...after an almost 2 week holiday where I ate everything I wanted to (Jason was off work) I had gained 5lb's but I lost that within 1 week...thankfully! So it seems as though I've not lost recently, it looks like it's been 5 weeks and only about 3lb's off, but it's only actually been 3 weeks of diet in that time.

Weight today is 11 stone 7.5lb (164.5lb) I feel very happy with my weight right now...my goal is still 10 stone and I don't think I need to or want to get any lower than that. I don't want to be too strict with myself and I think any lower would be.

That's a 4 stone 11.5lb (67.5lb) loss altogether...so I am already so much healthier than I was.
Poppy, I think you're doing great.
It's always hard during holidays.
Keep up the good work!
JOY
Brilliantly fabulous well done
Well...again the loss has been stilted the last few weeks, I am at 11 stone 4.75lb today (158.75lb) so just over a stone to go to goal.

I've joined the gym I went to a couple of years ago. It's a special offer 6 weeks for £49. I started today and I really enjoyed it. I may be bored to tears in another 6 weeks, but if I can maybe get in slightly better shape for the winter it may help me with my weight loss.
yay that is really cool Poppy

I need to pick up my watching weight ball it got lost a little while back :o(
Your spring/summer is on the way isn't it? That would be a good time to start? You've been very busy, it's always hard to diet when you don't have much time.

I bought 2 packs on kitkat chunky's over the weekend (special offer) so I could have one as a treat on Sunday...bad idea, they are calling to me everyday...lol, so far I've resisted.
Your doing Great Lisa...I have to start over put it back on. No will powerFROWN
Maybe if you want candy get a small bit to eat when your out...then you won't have to listen to it pestering you all the time.
Congratulations on your continued success and perseverance. I am planning on trying again in two weeks when the kids start back in school. I have lost weight with exercise, but very little (8lbs). I have been on holiday for the past 5 weeks, and road trips are not always conducive to smart eating.
Well done Lisa you really deserve a medal for your achievment.
Thank you all!

The first month is the worst, it's about breaking bad habits, my worst was if I was bored or lonely I always thought what can I eat? Now if I feel that way, I do something with my time or I maybe treat myself to a cup of coffee.

It must be almost impossible to diet while on holiday especially on the road, you're so not in control of what you are eating. Hope that you have continued success, 8lb is a great start, you have to start somewhere...I did!
Great to have progress, even it's just a little bit.
It's diffucult not to eat candy when you have bought it and it's there...
For so far I think you're doing great resisting it.
Keep up the good work and celebrate every little bit of progress and treat yourself to another cup of coffee ;)

I hate that, when we have chocolate in the house my thoughts are usually "I will eat you .... now". DOH Which is why we don't have the sweets lol.

I am really thrilled for you Poppy keep it going WINK
Thank you both so much FRIENDS I had a bit of a naughty weekend as it's a holiday time here, but I seem to be at a bit of a plateau so maybe the extra calories will actually do me good. It worked last time, having 2 weeks off actually boosted my weight loss once I got back to healthy eating again.
You're doing wonderful Lisa!!
