I thought I'd start a new thread about the diet...it's been 8 weeks on Monday and 8 weeks today that I decided to do something about my ever increasing waistline.

During my 20's I yoyo dieted between 10 stones (140lb) and almost 17 stones (238lb)
I'd already started to cut out the rubbish food from my diet and lost 4 lb in 3 or so months, I think this has helped me so much as it stopped me craving chocolate and my favorite tipple guiness with blackcurrant.
This is the first time I have EVER been this commited to a diet, I know I will be on it for the rest of my life. No cheating whatsover no excuses. When I first posted over at the old forum I believed I could do it this time and as time goes on I am stronger and stronger. When I got on the scales this morning I weighed a stone less than I did 8 weeks ago!

My clothes are dropping off me, I have 1 pair of trousers that fit properly, they didn't even fasten 8 weeks ago. My tops look horrendous hanging off me. I indulged in a new top and jeans the other day, I wanted something really nice for each size, I will fill this temporary wardrobe with cheaper everyday items too, as I can't really afford to buy a whole expensive wardrobe everytime I go down a size as I may only use them for a couple of months.

So here's a week by week rundown so far of my weight loss this final time.

Starting weight: 16 st 1lb 225 lb
week 1: 15 st 11.5 lb 221.5 lb
week 2: 15 st 9.5 lb 219.5 lb
week 3: 15 st 8 lb 218 lb
week 4: 15 st 6.75 lb 216.75 lb
week 5: 15 st 4.75 lb 214.75 lb
week 6: 15 st 4 lb 214 lb
week 7: 15 st 1.75 lb 211.75 lb
week 8: Will post after Monday

Total loss to Monday 24th August 13.25 lb

I don't really know how much weight you have lost, seeing that we use kilograms in Norway, but I'm sure you have done a fantastic job seeing that your clothes don't fit anymore! SMILE
Yes! Experts will tell you that's the best way to judge yourself, anyway. WINK
Sorry Nina! I have lost 6.4kg! But I have about another 25.6kg to go! All this sitting simming is no good for the waistline EVIL LAUGH

My starting weight was 102kg!
I have to ask though - your current Avvie choice must be taunting you!
