Meadowbrook Homes
Notes:
I believe this lot will now require patch version 1.7.9 or newer to install, because of the massive changes EA has made to the way the game handles data for WA.
Hopefully it will work correctly now, as I, and others, have been experiencing a good deal of incompatibilty problems with the WA code and preexisting content.
Description:
I really don't like the dark and dreadful graveyards, so I made one that's more peaceful and tranquil.
I stocked the pond with Deathfish, Angelfish, Tragic Clownfish, Black Goldfish, and Vampire Fish. There is a Life Plant, Death Flower Bush, and Omni Plant currently being fed Deathfish present on the lot, all ready for harvest right after you place the lot. I included the Mausoleum object, so your Sims can get the Cemetary part-time job on this lot as well as the other options it presents. I also included the tombstones for my two TS3 family founders, Janet and Peter Hansen, so there are two ghosts currently present on the lot.
This cemetary can serve as a fully functional replacement for the one that came with Sunset Valley. There are slight issues present from building a cemetary lot from scratch, though, such as that the Deathfish can be caught at all hours of the day instead of just at nighttime.
I also seem to be having pathing issues for no reason that I can determine, but I've found that if I direct my Sims in smaller steps towards where I want them to go instead of just telling them to go directly there when it's all the way across the lot that they get there fine. Also, sometimes I see uncontrolled Sims standing outside the main gate and stomping about "not being able to get in". Not sure what's up with that, but it might be the same thing and they're trying to walk clear across the lot. Or they might just not know how to take turns walking through the gate, as I have seen major issues with that (with front doors) when I've played my Sims on their home lots.
