Not quite finished decorating the ground floor, but I thought I would share what I have thus far.

The Cohen's are looking to get out of the town and into the countryside, so I built a home that seemed appropriate to their tastes. Originally, the lot was rather run down and needed a lot of work. Mr. Cohen would go out on weekends and work on the place while Mrs. Cohen took the children to museums and parks.

Mr. Cohen was able to restore the wood on the outside of the home. He rebuilt all of the window and door frames in his new garage/workshop. The windows and frames aren't all he built though. Putting his handyman skill to the test, Mr. Cohen built all of the beds, cabinets, desks, chairs, dressers, easels,and everything else made with wood. He is very pleased with his results. He was also able to build a play house for the twins.

Mrs. Cohen was so thrilled with Mr. Cohen's workmanship that she immediately hired and interior designer to help with the blending of the unique styles her family has. The ID helped her inside so Mrs. Cohen could focus on the outside. She was very pleased with the small orchard in the back and hopes to add some small plants like watermelon and garlic to quell the weird cravings she has been having lately. She also landscaped around the perimeter of the home.

The interior came together quite nice. Mrs. Cohen loves red while her husband loves teal, but the designer came up with a scheme that is pleasant on the eyes and kind of homey.
